SmartVerify verifies (with an approximate 99% accuracy) if an email address is currently deliverable or not. Unlike many other competitors, our SmartVerify doesn’t just ping the major ISP’s, while missing out on many other smaller email providers and we flag real-time spam traps. SmartVerify can be used regardless of how old the email address is. (Note: Our SmartInBox service is now included with our SmartVerify service and vice versa for the same price). SmartVerify uses MSNI’s Zagdat Real-Time Proprietary Algorithm Intelligence on the deliver-ability of approximate 1.6 gross billion emails and 28 million “unique” emails “daily”, which includes intelligence on 62 million “unique” emails a month with a full postal record.
Leveraging our Zagdata intelligence, including ISP feedback Loops (FBL), Return Path Delivery Intelligence and ESP Network Relationships, enables SmartVerify to accurately access the viability of a firm’s email addresses. | Recycled (Aged) Trap | Old email addresses that have been deemed dormant by the ISP due to lack of engagement from the email address owner. The address has been abandoned for so long the provider has re-purposed it as a trap to expose, and block emails from, senders who are not responsibly managing their email marketing program. Hitting a recycled spam trap indicates that you are not keeping your lists up to date, which means regularly removing inactive subscribers and managing bounced emails. |
| Pristine Trap | Email addresses created solely to capture spammers (sometimes referred to as honey pots). These email addresses were never owned by a real person, do not subscribe to email programs and of course will not make purchases. Many spam trap operators will post (seed) pristine traps across the internet on various participating websites. They are usually hidden in the background code of webpages and are acquired by a spam-bot scraping email addresses. If you’re hitting pristine traps this typically indicates you have a bad data collection. |
| Typo Trap | Email addresses that contain a typo or deliberately fake email address because the individual doesn’t want to be emailed. High risk of being a spam trap email address. For example, someone might submit an address with a typo in the domain: @gnail instead of @gmail. Typos on the domain side of the address are the most common spam traps but can also be present with a misspelled username. |
